Description

A treat ball for a dog whose energy has changed but whose interest in food has not. Sniffing, nudging, working a snack loose: real engagement that asks nothing of the legs.

The rubber is soft and flexible, with enough give to be kinder to an older mouth than a hard toy. Grooves across the surface hold small treats or a smear of paste. Two come in the set, one blue and one green, so there is always a fresh one loaded.

Product FAQs

Is it right for a large dog?
It's best suited to small and medium dogs. At 2″, it's below the size we'd be comfortable recommending for large breeds, since a ball that small can be a swallowing risk for a big mouth. We'd rather say that plainly than sell you the wrong toy.
What goes inside?
Small treats or kibble: pieces small enough to work their way out of the opening as the ball moves.
How is this different from the Puzzle Feeder?
The ball is for chewing and nudging with a few treats tucked in the grooves. The Puzzle Feeder holds a portion of a meal and dispenses it as it rolls, so it's the one for a dog who eats too fast.
