How stable is it?
The lightweight metal frame supports up to 250 lbs, and each tread has a textured, non-slip surface. Set it up on firm, level ground and check it's fully opened before your dog steps on.
Will my dog actually use it?
Often not on the first try. That's normal, and the most common complaint in reviews of every car step. Introduce it at home first, flat on the ground, reward a few paws on it, then move it to the car. A dog that trusts it at home will use it at the trunk.
How does it store?
It folds flat, accordion-style, and stores in the trunk between trips.
