Will they actually stay on?

Falling off is the most common complaint with dog socks in general, so it's the main thing we looked at. These have an adjustable strap to keep them in place, and the silicone grip wraps all the way around, so even if a sock rotates on the paw, grip still meets the floor.

My dog has never worn anything on their paws. Will they tolerate socks?

Most dogs need a few short sessions to get used to them. Keep the first wears brief and pleasant: before a meal or couch time works well. Once they're comfortable, the soft stretchy cotton is fine for everyday wear around the house; we'd still take them off overnight.

Are these a medical product for joint problems?

No. They're designed for one practical thing: steadier footing on smooth floors. If your dog's slipping is new or getting worse quickly, that's worth mentioning to your veterinarian.

What about outdoors?
